How to Upgrade Windows Mobile on BlackJack

While this operating system is perfectly functional, it is easy to upgrade to version 6 and begin enjoying all of the advanced features and functionality it enables. Upgrading will also make it easier to prepare for the 2010 release of Windows Mobile 7, which promises to let users do even more with their BlackJack phones.

Tips & Warnings
If you do not have Windows Mobile Device Center (for Vista), ActiveSync (for XP) and the BlackJack modem drivers installed on your PC already (or if you need guidance on how to back up your phone data), you can follow the upgrade instructions to complete these essential tasks before beginning the upgrade process.
Back up any important data on your phone before upgrading Windows Mobile. The upgrade process will erase all data on your phone.
Once you begin the upgrade process (step 10), do not disconnect or turn off your BlackJack or PC.
Choose the appropriate online upgrade package for your PC operating system (i.e., Microsoft Windows Vista or XP). If you select the wrong package, the upgrade process will not succeed.
