2. Perform the math. Use a calculator to help you with the multiplication. In the example, 50 multiplied by 10.76 gives you 538 square feet.

3. Convert square feet to square inches. Because there are 12 inches in a foot, multiply the number of square feet by 12 to get square inches. In the example, 538 square feet multiplied by 12 gives you 6,456 square inches.
