How to Play Video From Mini Disc on the Computer
Mini-discs are nothing more than miniature CDs and DVDs, adjusted to fit a smaller form factor, used in compact personal electronics such as camcorders. Playing the video off a mini-disc on your computer can be done by utilizing the mini-disc slot in your traditional optical drive, a process that is basic and will only take a minute or so to accomplish.

Open the drive tray of your optical drive.

Insert the mini-disc into the smaller depression in the center of the tray.

Close the tray.

Right click "Start" and click "Explore."

Click the drive letter of your optical drive.
