Print labels for your purpose.

Microsoft Word is a comprehensive word processor application used to create forms, letters and other types of documents quickly and professionally. Word is quite versatile, though, and you can use it to create a variety of other printed objects such as address and other sorts of labels. You can make and print an entire page of the same label, such as return address labels, or make a page filled with different labels, such as individual name tags.

Instructions

    • 1

Open a new, blank Microsoft Word document by clicking the "New" button or pressing the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl+N."

    • 2

Go to the "Tools" menu in Word 2003, point to "Letters and Mailings" and click on "Envelopes and Labels." In Word 2007 or 2010, go to the "Mailings" tab and click "Labels."

    • 3

Go to the "Labels" tab of the "Envelopes and Labels" dialog box. Click the "Options" button. Select the label size onto which you want to print. Click "OK."

    • 4

Type in the address or other text you want on the labels into the "Address" box and select "Full Page of the Same Label" if you want to make a full page of the same label. Leave the "Address" box blank if you want to make a sheet of different labels. Click "New Document." A new document opens with the label template.

Type into each label if you are making individual labels. Change the font, if desired, by selecting the text on the labels and choosing font options from the formatting toolbar in Word 2003 or the "Font" group of the "Home" tab in Word 2007 or 2010. Click "Print" to print the labels when you are ready.
