How to Activate the Speakerphone on a Blackberry

Turning on the speakerphone on a Blackberry can be done easily.

The Blackberry is a very successful cell phone/PDA developed by Canadian developer Research in Motion (RMI.) The Blackberry was one of the first devices to allow cell phone users to access email from their phone. The Blackberry is commonly used in business services and by people who travel frequently. There are various types of Blackberry models and each has a large number of features. One common option is the speakerphone. Turning on the speakerphone can be done in seconds.

Instructions

1. Dial the phone number that you wish to call.

2. Locate the speakerphone button on the phone. On most models, it will be located towards the lower right corner of the keypad and will have a dollar sign on it, though some will have a period instead.

3. Push the button once to activate the speakerphone, then push it again to turn the speakerphone off.
