Instructions

    • 1

Choose a colored paper. You can use cardstock if you'd like, but the card will be very thick if you choose cardstock for the interior. Fold the paper in half width-wise.

    • 2

Draw a half-heart shape on the edge of the card. It's usually best to center it, but you can draw it wherever you'd like and choose the size as well.

    • 3

Cut the top and bottom of the heart, leaving a small section of the heart uncut in the center. Open the paper half-way and push the heart shape inward. Close the paper. When you open it, the heart should pop out.

Choose a colored cardstock. Pick a different color than that of the paper you cut a heart into. Fold the cardstock in half. Glue the interior paper to the inside of the cardstock.

Decorate the card with markers, colored pencils, glitter, stamps, stickers and more.
