How to Make a Laptop Skin With a Dragon
When you customize your laptop, the skins you choose should reflect your personality. A skin is a sticker that is applied to the casing of your laptop and features different images. If you're a fan of dragons, you can create your own customized skin featuring images of your favorite mythical beasts. You can choose to create your own skin on your computer or use a website that specializes in custom laptop skins and sells them for a set price.

Measure the casing of your laptop. All laptops feature different sized screens and cases, so knowing the dimensions will help you to create a dragon skin that fits perfectly.

Find the dragon image you want to use for your laptop skin. You can draw your own and scan it into your computer, or use a website that features dragon images. Some examples of websites include Draconian.com, FreeDragonPictures.com and Draconika.com (see References).

Save the dragon image you wish to use to your computer. Keep the file in a location that will be easily accessible, such as your computer's desktop.

Launch an image editing program, and open your dragon image within the program.

Adjust the size of your image to fit the size of your laptop. For example, if you're going to use the dragon skin on a smaller laptop, you may wish to decrease the image size. You can use multiple dragon images in one skin as long as it doesn't exceed the size of your laptop casing.

Print the dragon image out onto vinyl sticker paper. Cut off any excess paper and peel off the packing.

Position the vinyl dragon skin onto your laptop. You can place it on the casing of your laptop, on either side of the mouse pad, or any open space you've measured.

Click on the option for creating your own skin. Choose your laptop model or dimensions from the menu.

Select "Upload an Image" and choose the dragon image from your computer you wish to use as your skin. Resize the image to fit the work desk in the skin creator. Upload additional dragon images if you wish to create a skin featuring different types of dragons.

Add additional text, graphics or backgrounds to your skin.

Click the "Order" button to purchase the skin. Enter your billing information when prompted. Your skin will be shipped to you.
