How to Install a Lag Switch

A lag switch is designed to interrupt the connection between an Internet-capable video game console and the Internet. Installing a lag switch only requires changing a few connections to the way that the video game console connects to computer modem to access the Internet, The distance that your Internet-capable video game console can be from your computer modem will be dictated by the length of the wiring of the lag switch.
