How Do I Google Map Search History?

Save

If you used Google Maps to search for a destination or to find directions, you easily can pull up the information again if you have a Google account. You only need to access Google Web History to get started. It is useful to pull up the map search so you won't have to re-enter the location or address information.

  • Go to Google.com and log in to your Google account using your email address and password.

  • Click "Settings" in the navigation bar located at the top, right-hand corner of the page and select "Google account settings" from the drop-down menu.

  • Select "Web History" from the list of account options. You can view everything you have viewed on Google here, including search engine results, videos, images and maps.

  • Click "Maps" located under "All History." A list of your map search history will open and you can view all previously searched directions or locations. Click on one of the map history links to view the details.

Tips & Warnings

  • Your Google map search history will not be saved unless you are signed in to your Google account. You will know you are signed in if your email address is displayed at the top, right-hand corner of the page.
