Open Internet Explorer 8 Optimized for MSN.

Click on "Tools" and select "Internet Options."

Click on the "Advanced" tab and select "Restore Defaults."

Click on the "Programs" tab and select "Reset Web Settings."

Click on "Apply" to confirm your changes.

Click on "OK" to close the display window.

Click on the "MSN" homepage icon and see if Internet Explorer errors are gone.
Reinstall Internet Explorer 8 Optimized for MSN

Open a web browser and go to ie8.msn.com (See Resources).

Click on the "Download Now" button.

Save the "Setup.exe" file on your desktop.

Remove current Internet Explorer 8 for MSN installation by clicking on "Start," "Control Panel" and "Add/Remove Programs." Select "Internet Explorer 8 Optimized for MSN" and click on the "Uninstall" icon. Follow on-screen instructions.

Double-click on the saved "Setup.exe" file to reinstall Internet Explorer 8 Optimized for MSN. Follow on-screen instructions.
