How to Set Up Voice Chat for LOTRO

LOTRO stands for Lord of the Rings Online, a computer game that allows you to create an interactive character. You can alter the voice of your interactive character to fit your own voice by setting up the LOTRO voice-chat feature. The voice chat feature is also known as MorphVOX. This feature allows you to talk for the character, rather than the game providing a voice.

  • Select "Options" in Lord of the Rings Online.

  • Select "Audio" from the menu on the right hand side of the screen. This will bring up the options panel.

  • Find the "Voice Capture Device" option toward the bottom of the screen. Set it to "Screaming Bee Audio."

  • Find the box that says "Enable Voice Chat." Click it. A check mark should appear in the box.

  • Test the voice chat feature by clicking "Mic Test." This allows you to test how your voice will sound in the game.
