Configure your Yahoo! Mail Plus account with Windows Mail.

Windows Mail, also referred to as Microsoft Mail, is an email client program on Windows-based computers that supports three main server types, Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3), Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) and Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) servers. If you are a Yahoo! user and you would like to send and receive emails from Windows Mail, you must have a Yahoo! Mail Plus account. Since Yahoo! Mail Plus supports the POP3 platform, you must use this server type when configuring your account in Windows Mail.

    • 2

Click on the "Add" button, select "Email account" from the list of options and then select "Next."
