How to Block Someone From Sending You Email on Yahoo!

Block mail from specific senders in Yahoo! Mail.

Yahoo! Mail lets you send, receive, manage and search email addresses from any Web browser, offers calendar and contact list functionality, and connects with other Yahoo! services, such as Evite and Flickr. The application also lets you block a specific email address to prevent the delivery of spam or other unwanted messages.

Instructions

1. Sign in to your Yahoo! Mail account.

2. Click the "Options" link near the top right corner of the window. Select "More Options" if you use the standard Yahoo! Mail interface, or "Mail Options" if you use Yahoo! Mail Classic.

3. Select "Spam" from the list of options on the left side of the screen.

4. Enter the email address of the person you want to block in the "Add a blocked address" field and click "Add."

5. Click the "Save Changes" button to confirm your changes.

Tips & Warnings

• You can block up to 500 email addresses in Yahoo! Mail.
