Insert a hot glue stick into a hot glue gun, and plug it in to heat up. Place the hot glue gun on a flat surface away from children. Once hot, spread hot glue over the area on the headband where you want the feathers to go. Carefully place five to six feathers onto the hot glue, avoiding touching the glue to your skin. Place the headband to the side to allow the glue to cool down completely. Apply hot glue to the tops of the hair clips, and place three to four feathers onto each hair clip. Set the hair clips aside to cool down completely.

Select beads that are different sizes, and complimentary in color to the feathers you have glued onto your headband and hair clips. Apply a small dollop of hot glue at the base of the feathers, place a bead onto that spot, and allow it to cool. Continue applying beads in this fashion until you have covered your headband and hair clips with as many beads as you prefer.
