How to Copy DVDs to a PC

A DVD can hold a video or it can contain data files such as documents and pictures. DVDs that contain documents and pictures are called data DVDs. How you copy a DVD to a personal computer depends on the type of DVD you are working with. To make a backup copy of a commercial movie DVD, you will need special software such as DVD Shrink, DVDFab or DVD Clone.
