What Is the Fastest Way to Get 1 Million GP in "RuneScape?"
"RuneScape," Jagex's browser-based MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game) has a huge and loyal following. When you get into "RuneScape," you quickly learn that the name of the game is gold: how to make the most gold, to buy the best items and win the hardest quests. Just like in real life, there's no quick fix to making 1 million gold, but a fast way to reach this number is by collecting and tanning cow hides.

Go to the field near Lumbridge, paying the toll for the bridge if necessary.

Attack the cows in the field. They will pose little threat regardless of your skill level.

Collect as many cow hides as you can carry and take them to the tanner in West Al Kharid.

Have the tanner make your hides into Soft Leather for a cost of one gold per leather. Take the Soft Leathers to the Grand Exchange in Varrock.

Sell your Soft Leathers for around 350 gold apiece. Return to Lumbridge and fill your inventory with cowhides again.

Return to the tanner and have him make Hard Leather from the cowhides. Sell these on the Grand Exchange for around 360 gold apiece.

Repeat the process, which should yield you around 36,000 gold every time, until you reach 1 million gold. When you tire of traveling to Lumbridge, you can also buy cowhides from the General Exchange for around 250 gold, which can then be tanned and sold as above.
