How to Delete All Songs & Photos Off Your iPod
Your iPod's disk space can quickly dwindle as you add photos and songs to your photo and music library. Although the iPod provides music and photo synchronization, you can choose to only store other forms of media including videos, audiobooks and games on your device by removing music and photos from your device. While images and music are removed from your device, they are stored in the iTunes program on your computer and will remain there until you manually erase them. To add them back to your iPod, simply sync them back.
