Apply a coat to your wall or furniture project, and let dry completely before applying another coat. To obtain a darker color, you may wish to add a couple more coats.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can purchase hydrated lime and chalk from your local hardware and building supplier. To make a heavier paint, use cottage cheese with the lime, mixing well. Let it sit until the lumps disappear. Stir your paints before and during use.

  • Lime can be irritating to the eyes, so use care when pouring and mixing.
