How to Change Wiper Blades on a 2005 Suburban

Replace worn wiper blades to see clear in the rain.

According to the owner's manual, the windshield wipers on your 2005 Suburban should be checked twice a year for safety. If the blades are starting to show signs of cracking or your vision is impaired when driving in the rain, it is time to change the wiper blades.

Instructions

1. Pull the wiper arm away from the car until it locks into place.

2. Rotate the used blade in the arm facing away from the car.

3. Press the release lever located in the center of the arm.

4. Slide the used blade toward the windshield and out of the wiper arm.

5. Slide the new blade into the arm.

6. Lower the arm back onto the windshield.
