How to Open an Xbox 360 Remote

The Xbox 360 has an optional Universal Remote Control that can be used to control a television as well as the game console. Should the remote control fail, opening it can lead to discovering what the problem might be. This will void the warranty but will provide a quicker assessment than taking it to an authorized service center.
