How Can I Pop My Rocketmail to Outlook Express?

RocketMail is a special domain set up by Yahoo! that allows users to get an "@rocketmail.com" email address. If you subscribe to the Yahoo! mail service, you can gain the ability to download your email through the POP3 protocol to your local computer and read it in an email client like Outlook Express.

Things You'll Need

• Subscription to Yahoo! Plus for your @rocketmail.com email address

Instructions

1. Open Outlook express, click the "Tools" button and select "Accounts."

2. Click on the "Mail" tab and then click the "Add" and "Mail" buttons.

3. Enter your name, click the "Next" button, enter your full RocketMail address (such as [e-mail]) and click "Next" again.

4. Click "POP3" under the server dropdown box and enter "plus.pop.mail.yahoo.com" for your Incoming Server and enter "plus.smtp.mail.yahoo.com" for your Outgoing Server and then click the "Next" button.

5. Enter the first portion of your RocketMail address (the portion before "@rocketmail.com") into the "Account Name" section, type your RocketMail account password in and then click "Next."

6. Click the Finish button. Your RocketMail account is set up to download the mail to Outlook Express.
