Fold the scarf diagonally, making a triangle.

Smooth out the wrinkles. Use an iron with warm setting to get a crisp edge.

Lay the scarf on your back grasping the two ends with each hand.

Bring the two ends together, wrapping the shoulders, cinching the two ends on your chest. Fold the right end over the left end. The left will now be on the right side. Pull this end up and over the fold.

Cinch the two ends together, tightening the shawl scarf. Make a loop with the ends and slide the right piece up through the loop, making a knot.
Neck Wrap

Place the two ends behind you and the triangle in the front on your chest.

Cross the two ends behind you and bring them to the front around your neck. Keep the fabric loose to create a draped look.
