How to Install Unicode OpenType Font in Windows XP
OpenType fonts were originated by Microsoft specifically for the Windows platform, and because of this, they install easily on Windows XP as well as other Windows editions. By installing additional OpenType fonts, you'll be able to use these fonts in your word processor, web browser and even Windows XP files and folders. A wealth of free fonts are available via Internet repositories, and you can download and install as many as you want onto Windows XP.

Click "Start," "Control Panel" and then "Fonts." Click "File" and then "New Font."

Select the OpenType font you wish to install. You can install multiple fonts at once by holding down the "Ctrl" button.

Check the box next to "Copy Fonts to Fonts Folder." Click "OK." Your fonts are now installed.
