How to Bypass Network Content Filtering

Network content filtering is the process of censoring network traffic to prevent access to suspect or inappropriate sites. Bypassing content filtering can be necessary where you absolutely must access information on a restricted site but have forgotten or misplaced your network administrator password. This can be done by channeling your request through a proxy server.

Instructions

Public Proxy Servers

1. Click on the Public Proxy Servers link under Resources.

2. Select the "Sorted by rating" link, which will provide you with a list of available proxy servers based on your Internet connection.

3. Click on the proxy server that you wish to use.

4. Enter in the web address you want to connect to. This will bypass your content settings, allowing you to access the "forbidden" site.

Free Proxy

1. Click on the Free Proxy link in Resources.

2. Click on any of the proxy servers listed in the window in the upper right corner of the screen.

3. Input the web address which you would like to view, bypassing the content filtering.

Proxy.org

1. Click on the Proxy.org site link in Resources.

2. Select any of the free proxy servers from the window on the left side of the screen.

3. Enter in the web address which you would like to view, bypassing the content filtering.
