  • Pool vacuum hose
  • Pole

Instructions

      Open the waste valve all the way on your pool filter system.

      Insert the vacuum head into the vacuum pole. Lay the vacuum hose out in a straight line. Attach the swivel end of the hose to the vacuum head.

      Place the vacuum head, with the hose and pole attached, into the pool. Slowly feed the hose into the pool until the other end of the hose is in the water; water should enter and fill the hose.

      Move the end of the hose under the water to the skimmer mouth, open the flow control plate and insert the hose into the opening.

      Vacuum the pool bottom by slowly pushing the vacuum head and hose around the bottom of the pool.

      Remove the skimmer basket and empty out any debris that flushed out of the vacuum into the basket.

      Close the waste valve on the pool filter and return the flow control plate in the skimmer to its original position when you are finished vacuuming.
