Instructions

    • 1

Mix your bleaching agent according to the package instructions in a non-metallic bowl. Open your box of hair foil and separate out several pieces in preparation. Be sure your hair is clean and dry before starting your process.

    • 2

Separate a small strand of hair, beginning in the front top area to be frosted. Apply the mixture with the application brush from the root to the tip of the hair. Wrap the section in a piece of hair foil lengthwise and roll down toward the scalp so that the entire strand is covered. This prevents the bleaching agent from touching the other hair. Continue in this fashion until all sections of hair you wish to be frosted are covered in the bleaching agent and wrapped in foil.

    • 3

Time the processing of the bleaching agent. Compare the recommended time for bleaching to the recommended time on your hair color instructions. You will need to plan to apply the hair color so that it will finish processing at the same time as your bleaching agent. Take into consideration the time it will take to apply the color.

    • 4

Mix your hair color according to the package instructions in your application bottle. When the designated time arrives, apply the color from scalp to the tips of the hair. Cover all hair not wrapped in your hair foil. Gently massage the coloring agent into the hair and allow to sit.

    • 5

Rinse hair thoroughly when the designated time comes. Remove the foil in the stream of the water. Rinse until the water runs clear.

Tips & Warnings

  • For longer hair, choose the largest size hair foil sheets available. Smaller sheets can be used on shorter hair for convenience.

  • Always strand-test your hair prior to any coloring process. Allergies or burning of the scalp may occur. Do not proceed with any hair processing if you receive a bad result from your strand test.
