How to View a Saved Show on a Comcast DVR

A DVR (digital video recorder) is a device used to save television shows. It is much like the digital version of a VCR. Comcast, an American cable company, offers customers the ability to upgrade to a DVR and even provides high-definition users with an option.

Things You'll Need

• DVR remote control

Instructions

1. Turn on your television and your Comcast DVR.

2. Locate the "My DVR" button on your Comcast remote control. This is a white button located near the top of the remote.

3. Press the "My DVR" button, and a list of recorded programs appears on the screen.

4. Browse the list of programs by using the up and down arrows, which are located in the middle of the remote control.

5. Press the "OK/Select" button when you have the show you want to watch highlighted. The "OK/Select" button is a red button in the middle of the arrow keys.

6. Highlight the "Play" icon if it is not already highlighted and press the "OK/Select" button again. Your saved show will now play on your Comcast DVR.
