How to Make a Homemade Diet for Dogs With Bladder Stones
If your dog suffers from frequent or painful urination, increased thirst or licking and an increase in the volume of urine, he could have a urinary or bladder stone. These, according to gopetsamerica.com, are tiny crystals that appear in the urinary system of a dog and can be diagnosed by your veterinarian. Antibiotics typically are used to treat the infection, however, feeding your dog a homemade diet may help prevent stones from reoccurring.

Tips & Warnings
You may supplement the egg with another protein source such as boneless skinless chicken, lean bison, lamb, or beef.
You can substitute the brown rice for cooked macaroni, or rolled oats.
You can add other supplements to the diet such as 400 mg calcium, half of a human multi-vitamin for dogs under 25 lbs, or a whole vitamin for dogs over 25 lbs..
Pay close attention to your dog's health by keeping track of his weight, odor, the condition of his skin, level of energy, stools and teeth health.
If the dog experiences digestive problems, you can decrease the energy sources (macaroni, rice), but must make up the lost calories by adding protein, or fat.
Dogs can be fed a vegetarian diet, however a meat based diet is the ideal diet for a dog.
You should only give your dog a homemade diet under the guidance of a veterinarian. Your veterinarian knows exactly what your dog is lacking, or may need in his diet.
