4. Ask the representative for their money-back authenticity guarantee policy, which is in place in all retail stores selling designer goods. Online authentic designer retailers also offer the policy, which can be viewed on their website. If the representative does not know of the policy or does not offer it, do not purchase the bag.

5. Research the Internet for authentic Prada retailers in your area. Authentic shops offer an address, business telephone number and customer service representation. You can also check the retailer’s rating with the Better Business Bureau as well as filed customer complaints. Be wary of "authentic" online shops that require payments through untraceable sources like money orders, or offer designer shopping list services for set fees. These services are fraudulent.
