How to Play Different Card Games for Parties
Bluff is a fun-spirited card game that's easy to set-up and play. All you need is a deck of cards and at least three players. The object of the game is to get rid of all your cards before the other players.
Blackjack can also be played at parties if you have poker chips or anything else players can wager. Party Blackjack is a simplified version of the casino game that you can play at home.

1
Deal the cards out equally among the players face down. If you have an odd number of players, place the remaining cards face down in the middle of the table. This is the pot.
-
2
Play begins with the dealer. He must pull at least one ace from his group of cards and play it by placing it in the pot. Players must call out the number of cards he or she is playing at this time. If the player doesn't have any aces, he has to bluff.

-
3
If a competitor believes the player is bluffing, she calls out "Bluff."
-
4
When someone calls bluff, the dealer must verify the last cards played. If the player was in fact bluffing, they have to take all the cards from the pot. If the player told the truth, the competitor who called his bluff must take the pile.
-
5
Continue play clockwise. The next player has to play twos. The person after that has to play threes and so on.
-
6
When you reach the king, start again with aces. The first player to get rid of all of his or her cards wins.

7
Players place their bets in front of them.
-
8
The dealer gives each player one card.
-
9
The dealer deals herself a card face up in clear view.
-
10
The dealer gives each player a second card.
-
11
The dealer places her second card under her first card without revealing it.
-
12
The dealer checks her hidden card to see if she has blackjack. An ace and a card worth 10 points (a 10 or a face card) is considered blackjack. If the dealer has a blackjack, proceed to Step 7. For all other hands, skip to Step 8.
-
13
The game is over and the dealer must collect all losing bets. Only players that had a blackjack themselves keep their bet. These players tied or pushed. When a player pushes, he keeps his original bet but does not collect any additional winnings.
-
14
The dealer goes left to right asking players if they want more cards. Additional cards are called "hits." If after a hit a player's hand totals more than 21, his hand is broken and he loses.
-
15
The dealer flips over her hidden card and hits her own hand. The dealer must keep taking cards until she reaches 17 or breaks. If the dealer's hand breaks, everyone that's still in the game wins. If the dealer doesn't break, players must be closer to 21 than the dealer to win.
-
16
The dealer pays all winning hands and collects losing wagers. If the dealer and a player tie, it's a push. He neither wins nor loses.
