How to Make a Water & Vinegar Cleaning Solution

Things You'll Need
- Water
- White distilled vinegar
- Bucket or spray bottle
- Long-handled spoon

Floor Cleaning

Get a bucket that has at least a 1.5 gallon capacity in which to mix the cleaning solution.

Fill the bucket with 1 gallon of warm water. Add 1 cup of white distilled vinegar.

Stir the water and vinegar with a long-handled spoon to mix the ingredients together. Clean the floors with the solution.
Counter Top or Table Cleaning

Fill a spray bottle or container halfway full with warm water.

Fill the remaining half of the bottle with white distilled vinegar, and place the sprayer back onto the bottle securely.

Shake the spray bottle gently to mix the vinegar and water together. Clean counter tops, tables or windows with the solution.

Tips & Warnings
Deodorize your microwave by placing 3/4 cup of water and 3/4 cup of vinegar in a medium-sized microwave container. Set your microwave on a high setting for five to six minutes, or until the mixture reaches a rolling boil. Any baked-on food will be loosened; wipe the inside of the microwave clean.
