      Plug the Mini Displayport end of the adapter dongle into your Macbook's video out port.

      Plug one end of the VGA cable into the dongle and screw in the two screws to secure the connection.

      Plug the other end of the VGA cable into your projector and screw in the screws.

      If the projector screen remains blank check the input video settings; they must be set to "VGA."
