How to Remove Felt Pen Stains From Clothes

A felt pen has a fine tip like a pen, but the ink is similar to a marker. When felt pen ink gets onto clothes, it can leave a stain. The best thing you can do is catch the stain early and treat it as soon as possible. Stain removal methods work best on stains that have not already been washed and dried.

Things You'll Need

• Paper towel
• Milk
• Sponge
• Laundry detergent

Instructions

1. Place a paper towel over the felt pen ink stain. Try to absorb as much of the ink as possible.

2. Pour milk onto a sponge.

3. Squeeze the excess milk onto the stain, and rub it in with the sponge.

4. Run the stained laundry through a washing machine cycle with laundry detergent.The settings depend on the type of fabric you are washing; check the label in the clothing for complete washing instructions.

5. Let the clothes dry outside.
