A Simple Escape

Step1
Lift an arm over your head in a swift, powerful motion.
Step2
Turn quickly to break the attacker's hold.
Step3
Run away.

Escape by Striking

Step1
Raise one arm up.
Step2
Cross it over the attacker's arms.
Step3
Strike with your elbow to the attacker's head.

An Easy Escape

Step1
Push your attacker's right arm up and away using the open palm of your right hand.
Step2
Push your attacker's left arm up and away using the open palm of your left hand.
Step3
Escape when the attacker's grip is released.

Tips & Warnings

  • Build strength and speed through practice with a partner.
  • Build up speed and power with a partner.
  • Striking with the elbow (an "elbow strike") can cause serious injury. Use it only if you intend to harm the attacker.
