How to Create Free Domain Email for MSN

Although MSN provides up-to-date news headlines and instant messaging, it is also one of the leading email services. Hotmail or MSN mail is free to join and creating your own email domain only takes minutes. With a Hotmail account one not only gains access to an ever growing amount of storage space, but it is also possible to sign into MSN messenger as well.

Instructions

1. Go to the Windows Live website at home.live.com. Click the button that says "Sign up" to create an account. In order to register for an email account you must first create a Windows Live account.

2. Choose a unique Windows Live ID. Complete the form with your personal information then click "Submit." This will also be your Hotmail account name.

3. Select "Get Started With Hotmail." Click on your inbox and read the welcome message from MSN.

4. Export your contact list from an additional email service. Sign into your other email account and click on the contact list. Select "Export" to create a CSV file. Go back to your Hotmail account and click "Import Contacts." Select the email service and browse for the CSV file. Click "Import Contacts" when you are done.
