How to Install My HP Printer Without the Disc
If you have lost the installation disc for your HP printer, or have inherited a printer and not the disc, there is a way to install the printer using just an Internet connection. In order to use any printer with your computer, you need the printer's drivers and supporting software so the printer and computer can communicate with each other. Hewlett Packard actually recommends downloading a printer's drivers from the HP website, especially if the operating system you are using was made after the printer was released.
