Instructions

    • 1

Draw an outline of a bell on the piece of cardboard with pencil. Perfect the shape and lines, erasing and redrawing if necessary, as this will be the stencil for the decorative bells. Cut out the bell shape when satisfied with the rendition.

    • 2

Trace the bell stencil onto the white paper and cut out the bell. To cut down on crafting time, make a small pile of the white paper and trace the stencil onto the top sheet. Holding the papers firmly together, cut through the stack to produce multiple bells.

    • 3

Decorate the bells as desired. Glue pearl beads to the bells, paint silver outlines onto the bells or merely sprinkle glitter to the bells.

    • 4

Prick either side of each bell with the pin or needle. Thread the string or ribbon through the bells, lacing them together and forming a garland to garnish the walls, pews or edges of tables.

    • 5

Create more bells or utilize the leftover bells from the garland. Place the decorated bells on each person's plate as a place setting, use them for table numbers or even coasters.
