AVG offers security products that provide protection against viruses, spam, phishing and identity theft for business and home computers. AVG LinkScanner checks the links on websites and warns you if they may cause harm to your computer. AVG Identity Protection monitors your computer’s network communications to protect against suspicious activity. Configure the application to automatically download the .bin files, which contain AVG’s virus pattern and program updates, from the Internet, or update the files manually for offline systems. Do manual updates for high-availability computers that should not be updated or rebooted without an administrator’s intervention or testing.
