How to Make Your Eyebrows Arched at Home
The eyebrows are a defining feature on the face. Many people choose to shape their eyebrows, and thin and thick eyebrows come in and out of fashion. An enduring eyebrow look that flatters every kind of face is a medium brow, with an arch in the center. Most brows naturally arch a little bit, but defining that arch can be the difference between ho-hum and striking brows. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Brush the eyebrow hairs vertically, away from the eye. This will help show the real line of your eyebrow.
-
2
Select an eyebrow pencil. Use a dark color for light hair, and a light to white color for dark hair.
-
-
3
Hold the pencil at the edge of the nose, straight up so that it passes over the inner corner of the eye. Mark a line across the brow where the pencil crosses it. This is the ideal point for a brow to start. Any hair to the center side of this line can be tweezed out later.
-
4
Hold the pencil at the edge of the nose, and this time pass it over the outer corner of the eye. Where this line crosses the brow is the ideal finishing point of the brow. Mark this site with the pencil.
-
5
Hold the pencil vertically over the center of the eye, directly over the iris. Where this line meets the brow is the ideal place for the high-point of the brow arch.
-
6
Make the same marks on the other brow, using the same technique.
-
7
Stand back from the mirror and check for symmetry. Adjust accordingly. For lighter haired people, shade in the form of the brow with a dark colored pencil, using the markers already made as starting points. For people with dark hair, use a light colored pencil to create the desired shape by coloring white all the hairs that DO NOT come into the desired form.
-
8
Tweeze one hair at a time. For light haired people, tweeze out the hairs that do not have a pencil marking on them. For dark haired people, tweeze out the hairs that do have pencil markings on them.
-
9
Tweeze out one or two hairs, then step back and check in the mirror that the look is progressing as desired. Do this until the desired arch form is achieved.

Tips & Warnings
Do not over tweeze. Try a moderate arch first, and then tweeze more if desired.
Checking the symmetry constantly as you tweeze will ensure you a perfectly arched, matching set of brows.
It is not recommended to tweeze hair above the brow, unruly hairs above the brow can be bleached.
Tweezing may sting a little, and for people with very coarse hair, sometime tweezed areas may even bleed slightly.
