How to Remove Red Wine Stains From Wool
Red wine stains on wool may at first seem impossible to get out. There are store-bought products that can clean some fabrics, but there are home cleaning tactics that work just as well, and maybe even better. Mix one part hydrogen peroxide to one part dish soap. Dawn dish soap works well, but any comparable dish soap or even Woolite (for delicates) will do. The mixture will turn clear.

Apply the mixture to the red wine stain on your wool. Let it sit for about 20 minutes.

Wipe the cleaned area with a dry, clean cloth. The stain should be gone. Hand wash your wool item as usual enjoy having a stain-free piece of clothing.

Tips & Warnings
You can keep the mixture handy for a few weeks and reuse it. After a couple of weeks, you'll need to make more because the effectiveness will wear off.
