How to Remove Salt Water Stains From Shoes
If you live in an area where you have to deal with any type of snowfall, you have probably had to deal with rock salt stains on your shoes. These stains are white in color and may appear as if they can easily be wiped away with a damp cloth. However, once dry, your shoes will still be covered in unsightly salt stains. Regardless of what type of shoes you wear, a few simple ingredients will make those salt stains disappear---at least until next winter. Does this Spark an idea?

Mix 1/2 cup white vinegar and 1/2 cup water in a bowl and stir well.

Dampen a lint-free cloth with the vinegar and water solution. Wipe the salt stains with the cloth several times.

Wet another cloth with plain water and wring it out to remove excess water. Wipe the shoes again to remove any vinegar residue.

Allow your shoes to dry. Repeat these steps if there are still visible salt stains.
