How to Use Hydrogen Peroxide to Clean Mold

Hydrogen peroxide is a household product that can be used to remove mold from walls and other areas. It's important to wear gloves and a mask when cleaning mold, since touching it and breathing it in can cause harm to your health.

Things You'll Need

• Rubber gloves
• Medical mask
• Hydrogen peroxide
• Spray bottle
• Sponge

Instructions

1. Put on protective gloves and a medical mask before you clean the mold.

2. Pour hydrogen peroxide into a spray bottle.

3. Spray the hydrogen peroxide onto the moldy area. Make sure a generous amount covers the mold.

4. Dampen a sponge with hot water.

5. Scrub off the mold with the wet sponge.

6. Dry the area completely when you've removed the mold.
