How to Restore a Dell Latitude C600 to Factory Settings

Instructions

1. Turn off your computer if it is currently on.

2. Turn on your computer. When the Dell splash screen appears, hold down "CTRL" and "F11" on your keyboard. Release both keys at the same time.

3. Click "Restore" in the "Dell PC Restore by Symantec" window. Click "Confirm" when you are warned that all data will be lost.

4. Allow the system to restore and wait for the message that says "The system recovery process was successful." This can take about 8 to 10 minutes.

5. Click the "Finish" button and your Dell Latitude D600 is restored to factory settings.
