You could be a nurse, X-ray technician, physical therapist, medical assistant, ultrasound technician, respiratory therapist, clinic manager or a specialist in one aspect of the health care industry. Jobs in this field require very specialized skills and can be competitive, so it's important that you have a professional resume that highlights your experience and skills before applying to jobs in the health care industry.
Instructions

-
1
Create a unique objective for your health care resume that states the type of position you're applying for and at least three relevant strengths you'll bring to the position.
-
2
List your job experience. This section should include all positions you have had in the health care field as well as any professional positions that have helped you develop the skills needed to succeed in your profession. For example, it's important for nurses to be considerate and helpful with patients, so a customer service job would be relevant for a nurse's resume.

-
3
Include your title, the institution you worked for and the dates of employment for each position. Also, include at least three bullet points for each position that start with an actionable verb and state the responsibilities you had in that job.
-
4
Include information relevant to the health care field and the specific position you're applying for in the bullet points, such as number of patients you cared for, number of staff you managed, treatment processes you have knowledge of, equipment you can operate and any special skills you acquired.
-
5
Add a section for your education. Include your degrees, the university you attended and the year you graduated. In this section, you can also list your fieldwork experience you had while earning your degree, as well as a few bullet points to describe that experience. If you recently graduated, your education should go above your employment history.
