How to Brew Neem Tea
Neem is a tree grown primarily in India. Its leaves, bark and roots have been used medicinally for over 4,000 years in the Ayervedic tradition. Neem is known to be a natural antiseptic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory and antiviral medication and is used to treat a myriad of ailments.
One of the most common forms of neem treatment is as a tea. Brewing neem tea is much like any brewing any other type of herbal tea. Neem can be combined with other herbs for specific treatments.

Place neem and other desired herbs into a teapot or tea cup. Use a teaspoon of neem leaves for each cup brewed.

Pour boiling water over the leaves and herbs.

Allow to brew in the teapot or cup for a few minutes until the water is the proper temperature for drinking.

Tips & Warnings
Neem tea can be added to a bath, used as an eye wash or ear drops for external treatment or drunk as a refreshing treatment.
Since Ayervedic tradition uses neem tea as a contraceptive, it is dangerous to use the tea for pregnant women or those trying to conceive.
