How to Use the Recovery Manager After a Clean Install of Vista
The Windows Vista operating system comes with a utility called the Backup and Restore center. This utility allows you to create a complete backup of your computer that can be used to recover your computer if you have to reformat your hard drive. After you've performed a clean installation of Vista, you'll need to restore the files that you've previously backed up. To do this, you can use the system recovery manager.
