How to Delete My Google History for Free

Your Google history is the history of all the sites you searched, and it is saved not on Google’s website but on your own Internet browser. Therefore, if you want to delete your Google search history you have to delete all your search histories from your browser. Luckily, it is very simple to delete the search history from Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome for free.

Instructions

Internet Explorer

1. Click “Internet Options” in the Tools menu.

2. Click “Delete” under “Browsing History.”

3. Click “Yes.”

Firefox

1. Click on “Tools.”

2. Click “Clear Private Data.”

3. Check the “Search History” box.

4. Click “Clear Private Data Now.”

Google Chrome

1. Select “Options” from the Tools menu.

2. Click “Under the Hood.”

3. Check the “Search History” box and the period of time for which you would like to delete your browsing history.

4. Click the “Clear Browsing Data” button.
