Luckily, it is very simple to delete the search history from Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome for free.

      Click “Internet Options” in the Tools menu.

      Click “Delete” under “Browsing History.”

      Click “Yes.”

    Firefox

      Click on “Tools.”

      Click “Clear Private Data.”

      Check the “Search History” box.

    • 7

      Click “Clear Private Data Now.”

    Google Chrome

    • 8

      Select “Options” from the Tools menu.

      Click “Under the Hood.”

    • 10

      Check the “Search History” box and the period of time for which you would like to delete your browsing history.

      Click the “Clear Browsing Data” button.
