What's the Best Way to Clean a Laptop Computer Screen?
Your laptop screen, especially if you use it a lot, gets dirty and dusty. On a regular basis, you should clean the screen by remove the dust, oils and debris that tends to gather on it. Although it may not seem like much, a piece of debris that is left on your laptop screen can easily end up in laptop's hardware, causing damage to the meat of your computer.

Turn off your laptop, and unplug it from its power source.

Wipe the laptop screen and frame with a dry anti-static cloth. Remove the smudges and dust from the screen and frame.

Dampen a new anti-static cloth with half isopropyl alcohol and half distilled water.

Wipe the laptop screen and frame with the dampened cloth. Wipe thoroughly from top to bottom.

Dip a cotton swab in the alcohol-distilled water solution. Run the swab along the edge of the screen where it meets the frame. Go around the frame a couple of times, each time with a new cotton swab. Make sure you are not dripping water onto the laptop as you go around the screen.

Wipe the laptop screen and frame once more from top to bottom to remove excess debris left behind from the cotton swab.

Dry the laptop and frame with a dry anti-static cloth.

Turn on the laptop.
