How to Uninstall the Latest Version of Internet Explorer
With a bunch of browser options on the Web that you can freely choose from, you may find that you do not need to use Internet Explorer as your main browser. If that is the case, you may want to uninstall the browser so it does not take up valuable resources on your hard drive. Removing the browser takes about five minutes.

With Windows 7

Shut down all applications and programs.

Hit the "Start" button on the bottom left of your desktop.

Scroll up and hit "Control Panel."

Select "Uninstall a program" in the "Programs" section.

Hit "Turn Windows features on or off" under the tasks pane.

Uncheck the box next to "Internet Explorer." Hit "Yes" in the dialog box that appears.

Follow the prompts and instructions that appear.

The browser will be uninstalled. Your computer will restart after the process is complete.
With Windows Vista

Hit the "Start" button on the bottom left corner of your desktop.

Hit "Programs" and then hit "Programs and Features."

Select "View installed updates" in the left column. Find and click on Internet Explorer and hit the "Uninstall" button.
