How to Upgrade Microsoft Internet Explorer 7
Internet Explorer is the default browser that comes bundled with the Microsoft Windows operating system. Upgrading Internet Explorer 7 involves using the Windows Update feature provided by Microsoft. Users can automatically have their computers check for updates, or they can manually check for updates using the Windows Update service.

Click the "Start" button and click "All Programs." From the list, select "All Programs."

Check to see if there are any available updates for your computer. Windows Update will tell you how many updates are available. Clicking ".... updates are available" will take you to the list of updates available.

Check the list to see if the upgrade to Internet Explorer is available. If it is, click "OK" and click the "Install Updates" button. If it isn't click "OK" to get back to the main menu and click the "Check for Updates" link in the left window pane.

Click "Install Updates" once Windows Update has finished downloading the new updates. If the upgrade to Internet Explorer is available, it will automatically install onto your system.
